The iron mask is a masked enemy that usually either just sits around, or moves from one side of a room to the other. As the name implies, the iron mask wears a mask that prevents damage from any direction other than the back. Otherwise, the enemy will only be pushed back from the direction you attack it. This is actually used to solve some multi-switch puzzles in the Temple.
