Bearded Link, officially known as Rank in the game, is a character that very much resembles the protagonist Link from the Legend of Zelda series. Rank spends his days cutting bushes for money to take care of his family. Speaking to him (which is itself rather odd) will have him make political double jokes about "Bush" "cuts" and how they make it hard to keep his family fed.
